July 3, "Rosie and Lola"

Another one you can't blame me for painting~  "Watership Down" was my all-time favorite book for a long time-  I don't get the chance to paint many rabbits!
Here's what Rosie's owner says about her, AND the bunny!
Here is our dog Rosie, who is 3 years old. She is a golden retriever and loves to greet everyone who walks past our corner yard. Luckily for her even our windows are low enough for her to watch the world go by. We have had 2 bunnies and she has loved both of them. At first we thought her nudging them with her nose was her way of tenderizing the bunny but then we realized she just wanted to play. This bunny was named Lola.
