I cleared out my studio a bit and decided to get rid of some old paintings that were really not anything much except inspiration for other work. This is one of them, kind of the internal memory of my favorite black lab mix ever, my Bingo, who taught me how to paint black dogs just by being one.
I had this up in my second art room at St Mark's School in St Paul, and there's still something about it I like. I'm glad I took a photo of it.
