It really is the contrast of the dark and light that draws me to paint. This is one of those wolves that live at the Minnesota Zoo, and it is the side view of his face and the lifted paw and the stark shadows that I'm hoping I've managed to convey~
So love this! I painted it as a demo for my last six week Paint Love session- the next one will be in September. And I'll have some one-day two-to-three hour workshops at my studio coming up in June!
