Daisy found us when my daughter, Cydni, and I accompanied a friend to a shelter when he was looking for a kitten to adopt. Daisy was just a year old and was being transferred in from another overcrowded shelter several states away. She looked a bit traumatized, so we took her to one of the private rooms to give her a little care and attention. It was love at first sight. She jumped right onto Cydni's lap and snuggled her little puppy head onto Cydni's shoulder. We gave Daisy a home 5 1/2 years ago and she has given us so much more in return. She is the unofficial therapy dog to many of our friends and family who come visit her when they need some love. And we still celebrate double adoption day for Iggy the cat and Daisy the dog! ❤️
