She is one of Tanya's chickens and Tanya works at the U and has a bunch of animals she uses with the kids for therapy at the U, and this is one of the fluffy ones!
Here is Tanya's story!
"The chicken you painted is called a Silkie, she's 6 and her name is Atilla the Hen (Tilly). I've had her since she was 10 weeks old. She is a registered therapy chicken and works with me at UMN in the PAWS program (https://boynton.umn.edu/paws). She is one of 4 chickens in the program and we are part of helping to support student mental health. She weighs about 2 pounds and is super fluffy, very sweet, and very friendly. She also purrs when she is happy and loves spending time with the students."
