Milo is an orange tabby - Milo is a tough little guy. Being born with Feline Leukemia (FeLV), he is not able to fight off infections/diseases as well as other healthy kitties. He contracted a blood parasite that was eating his red blood cells making him extremely anemic, thus needing a blood transfusion. Fortunately for Milo, a very kind cat came to the rescue and donated blood through the blood bank. Who knew that there are donor cats that are willing to do something as incredible as this? Thank you to this anonymous cat for saving Milo's life!
Milo unfortunately didn't make it as far as his loving owners hoped~
I just wanted to let you know that Milo passed away on Feb. 17th. He took a turn for the worse and cancer was diagnosed along with the severe anemia. We had him put to sleep at our house on his blanket in his favorite spot in front of the fireplace. Such a short life of only 9 months but I know he knew he was very much loved. Your painting will be extremely special to us. Thank you.
