Jan 19, Another Commission

Oh I had SO much fun painting this one!  This one was a commission for a Christmas present, and when the clients sent the initial images to me,  this was the one I really wanted to paint~  it is so delightful when I get a photo that really speaks to me!  I mean, really- how could you NOT want to paint this?
And I offered the usual sizes, 9x12, 11x14, but I really wanted to paint it BIG!  And they wrote back saying after talking about it, they decided they wanted to go with the 16x20!  YAY!
That made my December!
And really really really, what a great face~  who couldn't love that?
