Jan 7, "Winter Black"
The negative space of the snow behind the wolf helps so much in getting the shapes right. And I love the contrast as well, and the gesture. It never ceases to amaze me how much body language translates across species. I have no problem identifying this wolf as a bit cautious but curious...
