Carolyn and Brad are amazing generous patrons who have been collecting my art for a number of years now, and this is their most recent love muffin in their family~ and I'm honored to paint him for them! He certainly carries the name well, being fluffy and sweet! And I had so much for working on those luminous blue eyes... though I may change the background color. It seems he might need a different feel...
In Carolyn's words, here is Zefir's story~ so far!
"Our wonderful 5year old cat , Hota Kah? died suddenly and we were all devastated and lonely, including Fast Eddie . Through a series of randomly focused communication with Becky D and Kathy G ( who both knew we were desperate for another Siberian kitten ) , I fell in love with the cutest kitten ever -on a website from Illinois. Brad and I flew to St Louis, rented a car, drove East into Illinois, and in a parking lot met the breeder who gave us our Zefi !!
His name , pronounced Zeh feet’( courtesy of Geoff’s Russian-speaking parents ) means Marshmellow Treat. He was 2 pounds. Now at 11 pounds, he continues to be the most affectionate cat I have ever known ~"
