This morning it's been rainy and cool and just a bit thundery, reminding me of the times we've spent in England in the Calder Vallery with our puppet master friends making puppets and being in parades! This is their newest friend, a lovely dog with a ruffle like an old time poet! I've painted their other beloved companion, Panchan, who went along everywhere and was a regular at the studio and scene alike, and I am honored to paint this handsome fellow! Meet Percy! He’s a rescue from Romania, we had him now for 3 and a half months. He’s still very nervous around other dogs but very loving and getting more confident by the day. Hard to replace our dear Panchan whom we had for 14 and a half years! But Percy is lovely and really has become a part of the pack.
