July 5, Diya for Michelle

I had the great good fortune to be able to paint this morning at the Art Colony in Grand Marais! It is gorgeous up here! I highly recommend it to everyone!  THough maybe not on the 4th of July... the campground is a bit like a parking lot, actually...

So this is Diya!  A beautiful shiny black dog, my favorite subject ever!

“Diya started this life as a street puppy in Gurgaon, India. She’s now a Frogtown queen, ruling over a blue heeler brother and two blue-eyed kitties in St. Paul.”
