Happy Mother's Day! A Mother's Touch~

Our last day at the Art Colony in Grand Marais- this has been incredible.  I was expecting to paint deer, but I didn't think I was going to be quite so obsessed with them...
I'll be finishing them up this week and I'll have most of them with me this coming weekend at Art A Whirl if you'd like to come by and see them in person!  I'm at the Grain Belt Bottling House, 79 13th Ave NE~  hours are Friday 5-10, Sat noon-8 and Sun noon-5!

This one is a favorite.  I love the big blocky body and the tender gesture of their heads~ I guess I posted it yesterday too but this is the finished version-  I've emphasized the negative space around their heads-  those angles!  Yay!
