Feb 24, Max Says "Please?"

I took this photo the other night at the Cardinal, when Max and our friend Jana were playing the crank machine, where you put money in and move the crane and get a stuffie if you're lucky.  Max had already won a rather nice rabbit (we have too many crappy stuffies from that game) and Jana was working on her own toy, and Max really REALLY wanted to give her a hand.
It was a tricky angle to paint, getting just that hint of a eyebrow, and that slightly open mouth and wrinkled forehead... skin tones are so fussy!  But fun!  Give it a go if you've been thinking about trying!
Hmm, though now that I look at it again and smaller, it almost reads like his face is dirty...

I suppose it probably was at that point...
