I didn't paint in the penguins on their cushion. Tho I may just go back in and do that....

and I know I am late AGAIN, but I was a little emotionally overwhelmed yesterday and am still reverberating with Japan today. SO difficult to really fathom what is happening all over on this planet...
Feels really good to be able to focus on a small, furry, not-completely-innocent face and just paint.
Meditation comes in many ways.....

I love this as it is and I wouldn't bother with the penguins. I think they'd just compete with the gloriously stripey cats.
When I opened this page I made a little "OH THAT IS DELIGHTFUL" noise. Always a good sign!

I took that photo, and I love seeing it through different eyes - and a different medium. I miss them both so much; this is a beautiful tribute.
