July 11, Gus!

Obviously, this is one of those photos that I saw and knew I had to paint~  I mean, could YOU say no to that face?  Seriously!  This is one of those dogs whose job on this planet is to make people smile, and that's a job I am sure Gus takes to heart.
Here's what his doting owner says~

"Gus is our warm spot on the couch stealing, kid snuggling, cheeto loving, sock snatching schnauzer. He frequently forgets which toys belong to him and which belong to the two-legged kids. Even with his thieving pirate ways we love him because he is the doggy that won over my son and taught him dogs aren't scary..... they are just a buddy with four feet. "
