march 8, Emma!

I know Jeremy has been waiting all day to see this!  Sorry she's so late, but life does get in the way of painting!  I do like how she turned out~
Her green eyes strongly suggested a green background~  and I thought I'd play with the idea of whiskers here...
Such an earnest gaze~
Stay tuned!

What a beautiful painting -- I LOVE IT! You did such an amazing job on this, Kat! The eyes are perfect.

Emma was the sweetest, most gentle kitty I've ever known. She brought so much love and joy to my life. I'm still surprised when I come home and she's not waiting for me at the door. I am so very thankful for her and I miss her every day.

Your painting of Emma is great. You really caught her direct and thoughtful gaze. Emma was the sweetest - it hasn't even been two months since she passed (January 19). She was very sweet and a real talker. I know Jeremy had entire conversations with her and would swear she understood him. She would talk to me too when I visited or took care of her. Fancy Feast was the love of her life! Your painting is a wonderful tribute.
